Time to plan that special weekend for the Annual Montpelier Wine Festival. This year Greenock House is putting together a total package.

Friday, May 2th, when you arrive at Greenock House, you will find the side board full of nibbles from around the world set out at 5:30. Your Bistro dinner will be popped into the oven and be ready for you when requested during dinner hours of 6:00 – 8:00. You can visit with the other guests or curl up in your room with a good book or video.

For Saturday morning breakfast at 9:30, there will be coffee, juice, and Dria's wonderful breads waiting in the dining room, help yourselves! The hot entrée will be served at table. Once you are satisfied, you can head off for your day at the Festival which starts at 11:00.

The Wine Festival

We provide your tickets to the festival and we'll send a picnic basket along full of plenty of good homemade bread and cookies, fresh fruit and other special treats, mufalletta sandwiches went over well last year.

Saturday night, after the festival, we'll provide an elaborate appitizer evening from 6 -7 pm with scrumptious treats from around the world to enjoy with whatever favorite bottle you picked up at the festival.

Sunday morning breakfast will be served to fortify you for your drive home. You will enjoy juices, a variety of fruits, assorted breads, Rich's mushroom soufflé and baked ham. Bulgarian potato cubes and baked pineapple with coconut will be available too. We'll send bread and good local cheese home with you to accompany that second special bottle of wine you just couldn't pass up at the Montpelier Wine Festival 2008.

As you can see, we believe food and wine go together. We hope to show you some new ways to enjoy them together.

The tab for this inclusive weekend event extravaganza is $160 per couple plus a minimum two night stay in the room you have booked.
