The White Ash Room

The White Ash guest room is located upstairs at the front of the house. The theme of this room is Swedish Gustovian. It is papered with a blue flowered print and decorated with a rich buttery yellow.

The beautiful carved-wheat sheaf bed is Queen sized and fitted with high thread count linens. The yellow cut velvet canopy matches the window valences. The bed spread of crushed velvet and flowing satin was designed and made by Lill along with the draperies.

The sitting area in the White Ash provides plenty of space to relax. A loveseat sits at the foot of the bed. Two Italianate chairs and a small table provide a dining area.

A beautiful small desk basks in the sunlight where you can write postcards to send home.

If you are not in the mood for writing, there is a television available with VCR.

Private bath with shower adjoins the room. Rates include hors d'oeuvres offered by request in the evening as well as a full multi-course gourmet breakfast daily. As in all our rooms, you have a refrigerator lightly stocked with beverages for your convenience. There is also a coffee pot with plenty of our own blended grounds and an assortment of teas right in the room.

Double occupancy -- $135, plus tax.
