The Blue Willow Room

The Blue Willow guest room is located upstairs on the West side of the house. It is decorated in an aesthetic Victorian theme strongly Asian in flavor. Cafe au Lait walls are a backdrop to rich blue and white.

A beautiful crown canopy hangs above the true King size bed which is fitted with high thread count linens. The white brocade cover is accented by a deep blue "bed runner." Full multilayer draperies envelop this room, providing a comfortable hideaway.

The showpiece in this room is a small mural of a tiger on rocks. Lill painted the tiger before we realized it was the mascot for Woodberry Forest School . Now this room is a favorite of Woodberry parents!

The sitting area in the Blue Willow includes a comfy loveseat at the foot of the bed and a rocking chair. A table and two black lacquer chairs provide a dining area. There is also a small desk in this room. Television is available with VCR. Private bath with shower/tub combo adjoins the room.

Rates include hors d'oeuvres offered by request in the evening as well as a full multi-course gourmet breakfast daily. As in all our rooms, you have a refrigerator lightly stocked with beverages for your convenience. There is also a coffee pot with plenty of our own blended grounds and an assortment of teas right in the room.

Double occupancy -- $150, plus tax.
Taxes include State Sales Tax and Local Lodging Taxes totaling 9%
