Prix Fixe Dinner at Greenock House

$60 per guest exclusive of tax or gratuity. State and local taxes of 13%..
Reservations are required and cut off Wednesday for the following week.
Seating is at 6:30 PM .

Our menus change monthly, so please use the navigation bar to the left to find the month you are interested in. We try to have a menu planned and on-line for the current month and the next month. If you'd just like to browse some examples, look at the Menu History page. Some of our most popular recipes are available as well.

Please make your reservation for any Prix Fixe dinner, including your entrée choice for the table, as early as possible. Remember, we are in the country, so we often have to drive an hour away just to find quality ingredients or place specialty orders early so we can serve you the very best. Therefore, reservations for Prix Fixe cut off Wednesday for weekend dinners.

We hope something on the menu interests you. On occasion, we may have to substitute a menu item if quality ingredients are not available.

The Prix Fixe Experience

The Prix Fixe Dinner at Greenock House Inn is an experience worth planning your trip around. You choose the entrée for your party when you make the reservation so once you arrive and the experience begins, just relax and enjoy the meal!

You may start your evening with Hors D'oeuvres at about 5:30 in the parlor, if requested, where you can socialize with any other guests or just quietly relax. Many of our Prix Fixe Dinner guests forego the earlier evening hors d’oeuvres recognizing that the dinner itself is quite substantial.

We seat in the dining room at 6:30pm. When you are first seated, you'll find a basket with homemade breads waiting beneath the candlelight. Once you are settled, you are presented with your first course,the Amuse Bouche, a tiny taste offered to whet your appetite. Always a surprise, the Amuse-Bouche offers a tantalizing hint of what is to come.

As you progress through the five courses, a scrumptious sampling of soup, made from scratch, is served. The third course, your salad, follows.

Now, take a few minutes to let it all settle while we put the finishing touches on the entrée you chose in the kitchen. The entrée is served along with an assortment of vegetables for the table.

At this point, you are wondering how to fit one more bite yet you know dessert is still on the way. We suggest you take a break from the table. Enjoy a stroll on the porch and grounds or simply relax in the parlor. Take 10 minutes or so, while we brew fresh hot coffee and garnish the dessert. Hopefully, you're ready for a sensational finale when you return to the table.

Our ABC license does not allow us to sell wine with dinner; although, as an overnight guests, you may book your room with a package that includes a bottle for your stay. If you would like, we would be happy to serve that bottle with your meal.

Please remember, our menus change regularly based on what is fresh in the market. We STRONGLY suggest that guests choosing to dine at Greenock House Inn discuss allergies and any food dislikes with the chef when making reservations in order to make the meal pleasant for all.

The Prix Fixe Dinner is $60 per person which does not include tax or gratuity.
