Evening Hors D'oeuvres

We offer complimentary evening hors d'oeuvres; by request only, to our overnight guests in the early evening. When we have a full house, the hors d'oeuvres are usually served at about 5:30pm. They are placed on the buffet sideboard in the main hall for guests to help themselves. With just one or two rooms booked, we sometimes make up trays for two which you can enjoy on the porch or in your room.

Hors D'oeuvres at Greenock run the gamut from English Tea to International cheese platters to Spanish Tapas served with appropriate beverages from tea to wine or beer. Often, the buffet will feature items from many different parts of the world providing a variety of tastes.

We may not offer the regular Hors D'oeuvres during a Special Event Stay or with Packages at Greenock. Our events often incorporate so much food that the hors d'oeuvres are simply too much and are wasted. Please see the event schedule to see if hors d'oeuvres are offered.

We know that our guests are often visiting friends, planning a late arrival, or are still out exploring the area in the early evening. Therefore, we do not prepare hors d’oeuvres unless you request them. Please let us know if you will be around and want to experience the evening nibbles.
