Breakfast at Greenock House
Rise hours after dawn, (you are on vacation after all) to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. While sipping that first cup, choose your breakfast table. In good weather, dining on the Veranda is a wonderful way to start your day. If it is a little too cool or damp, the indoor dining room is always available. Once seated, enjoy fresh fruit and homemade breads while we prepare your hot breakfast.
One of the favorite breakfasts here are French Omelettes. A wonderfully delicate omelette filled with fresh vegetables (often from our own garden) and cheeses. The filling always changes based on what is fresh in the market or the garden. We also are happy to serve Trader Joe's chicken sausages in different flavors.
Other favorites include fresh and fluffy Scrambled Eggs blended with Chevre and Garlic Chives, Spanish Frittattas, Baked Omelette Souffle and Eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise Sauce.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. To help make sure your meal is ready when you are, please let us know what time you are likely to be down to eat. If you need an earlier or later meal, please speak with the innkeeper to make arrangements. For extremely early risers, a continental style breakfast of fresh fruit and homemade breads can be arranged to be left in your room or be packed to take with you as you leave.
