Greenock House Inn is located on Caroline Street. Our driveway starts just behind the Dairy Corner Restaurant.


Here are driving directions based on which direction you are coming from.

From Northern Virginia, Maryland, DC, and points north East.

From Rt. 95 heading South

Take 1-95 South towards Richmond. Take the exit for Route 3 West towards Culpeper. Stay on Route 3 West for about 15 miles until it intersects with State Route 20. There is a stoplight with a Seven-Eleven Store on right and a Sheetz and McDonalds diagonally across the intersection on the left. Turn left at the light and stay on Route 20 South for 23 miles to the town of Orange. Route 20 intersects Route 15 at a traffic light in the Town of Orange.

From Rt. 66 heading West

NOTE: There are three different exits off I-66 onto Route 29. These directions use the one at Gainesville.

Take 1-66 West toward Front Royal. Take U.S. Route 29 South at the Gainesville exit. Stay on Route 29 South for about 26 miles to Culpeper where Route 29 intersects with U.S. Route 15. Go South on U.S. Route 15 heading away from Culpeper. Go about 17 miles until you reach the town of Orange. Route 15 is Madison Street in the Town of Orange. It intersects with Route 20 on the South side of town.

From Richmond, Williamsburg, and points to the South East.

Take 1-64 West toward Charlottesville. Look for exit 136 sign, which says U.S. Route 15 to Palmyra, Fork Union, Gordonsville and Orange. Take exit 136 and turn right onto U.S. Route 15 North for 12 miles into Gordonsville. (Stop here if you are going to Sleepy Hollow Farm!) Continue to follow Route 15 through Gordonsville and turn right at the traffic circle and head to Orange for another nine miles (still Route 15 North). As you head into town, you come up a rise and head down towards the light at the intersection with Route 20.

From Charlottesville

Take Route 20 North into the Town of Orange. As you enter the Town of Orange, you intersect with Route 15 S; also called Caroline Street.

Or

Take Route 29 North out of Charlottesville until it intersects with U.S. Route 33 at Ruckersville. Turn right at the stoplight and head east on U.S. Route 33. Turn left onto Route 20 headed to the town of Orange. As you enter the Town of Orange, you intersect with Route 15 S; also called Caroline Street.

From From I-81 and Points West

Take I-64 East and follow directions from Charlottesville above.

Or

Take I-66 East to 29 South in Gainesville and follow directions from I-66 above.
